HDMI black level setting for SDR Xbox Series X

My question is, for SDR content on the Xbox Series X, should the HDMI black level in the Samsung menu be set to auto, low or normal?

Background info: The Xbox Series X is set to 10 bit. I have HDMI Black Level in the Samsung menu set to Auto. When doing the TV calibration walkthrough in the Xbox settings in SDR mode, the closed eye does not appear. If I set it to Normal, the closed eye appears but the black looks very washed out/more greyish.
