The Dyson Gen5outsize is great for bare floors. It has little trouble clearing debris from hard surfaces like tile or hardwood, though larger materials like cereal can sometimes get clogged in the entryway to its dirt compartment. The vacuum feels slightly sturdier than older Dyson models, but some parts still feel flimsy. Thankfully, the vacuum has plenty of tools and attachments, including a soft roller head with an LED light to help you see dust and fine debris on hard surfaces. The vacuum is also easy to maintain and won't incur recurring costs as long as you regularly clean its HEPA filter. Its larger size makes it a bit cumbersome to maneuver and use for long periods.
