Disappointed with the recently released successor to the h9f that received such high marks by the rtings testers. Figured it would be some tweaks here and there, but most likely still highly recommended. No matter whether watching content from baked in Android TV apps (Amazon Prime, YouTube) or via Fire TV 2 2015 using 8K-capable HDMI cable - the picture is no better with 1080p or below content than our low-end 2013 Hisense 55" 1080p. Significant micro-artifacts are present in every piece of content, save that of actual 4K programming - which is not that prevalent. Could save a $1,000 and just keep the old 1080p if theyโre both going to have it. Also, is it just the Hisense Android TV โs or are all Android TVโs crippled by what apps are even available when searching the Play Store? There are numerous apps that can be found there from an Android smartphone, but not from the 65h9g.
