Since we received concerns from users about our review/comparison, we wanted to try and clear things up. During out testing, we found minor differences in performance between the two - not in the results they produce but how long it takes and the effort required. The A3500โs blending programs and slightly faster max blending speed seem to help it process ingredients more efficiently. Itโs true that your specific ingredients, amounts, and tamping/stirring can affect the results! We use the same ingredients and weigh them for all of our tests to make the results as comparable as possible. That said, weโre always looking for ways to improve, so weโre going to pass this along to our test development team to keep in mind when they consider future changes to our methodology!

This site cannot be trusted. Both of these Vitamix blenders have the same motors, blades, containers. The major difference is the automated programs options, the 3500 offers more. In fact, nearly every Vitamix for the home market has the same motor, blade, and nearly all the same container options. These machines are โscientifically capableโ of the same exact results. The actual reason for different results is also scientific because, for instance, lets say you want to make a smoothie. First of all you are going to get different results every time, maybe not really noticeable or maybe noticeable. Everything matters here, ingredients being weighed for the number . grams in, the exact shape and size and exact location of every ingredient placed in the container, exact number of seconds blending, exact moment and location of tamping and tamping pressure. Anyone rating the Vitamix should at least have this information. This review is a failure.
We still want to engage with it in case other users have similar questions or concerns, but weโve simply removed the offensive language. Our team will reply to this reposted comment soon!
