My X950H has a failing panel and is being replaced under warranty with a brand new X90K (they claim this is the best available comparable model) however other than supporting 4K @ 120Hz and G-Sync compatibility (which I won’t use) it seems like this may actually be a worse TV, based on the ratings.

Is this just a matter of the X90K scoring lower against TV’s released around the same time, or is it truly a downgrade Sony is giving me versus the X950H which I have loved, or can it at least be considered a lateral move (with the benefit of adding 4K @ 120Hz support for XBOX Series X).

My main use is gaming on XBOX Series X, watching motorsports (HD OTA or via network direct streaming apps), and occasional movies and TV with Netflix/Disney+/Hulu.

Thanks for any input anyone can provide. I hope this isn’t going to end up being a step backwards from what has otherwise been an incredible TV!
