Are you going to review the Q70B (2022) model?
i purchased Sony Gaming Headset MDR-G300/WZ on December 8th and in less than 1 and half months time frame its mike has come out. Its noise reducer is not working. when noise reducer is connected to laptop and the other end connected to head set, what ever i am telling in the meeting, other end is unable to hear.
After giving me a low quality product Sony is asking me to buy the same product once again by paying the amount for a small discount. Even a head set local one for Rs 100 will last at least one year. Just turned the mike towards the mouth. it has broken. I never expected such a low quality product from Sony.
Sony service center at Vyttila kochi is 35 kms away from my home. If not able to repair, i don’t know why they aske me to travel and accept the item in the service center first place? I called before handing over to the service center. then only traveled and asked one person to give the item in the service center. This show how irresponsible Sony people are and how much trouble tehy are giving. We expect guidance from tem and a solution and not trouble.
I expect Sony has to either replace the item or make the mike of head set gets repaired and make noise reducer working or replace the item. But no response from their end.
Owner of a pair of these. The “fauxleather” headband cover started to come off after like a year, and now after 1 and a half years the microphone straight broke off just like Sivaraman below me mentioned. What pisses me off is that it’s otherwise a great product, it just has built-in “planned obsolescence”.
