Ps5 coudnt display 1440p on my samsung neo g7 on the 1440p test. Tried both hdmi ports. Im using hdmi 2.1 cable that came with the ps5. What could be the issue? Didnt change any osd settings from stock.

Same problem here. Have had this problem ever since I got the monitor over a year ago and none of the updates seemed to have fixed the issue. I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong. I’ve tried tweaking some settings and changing refresh rate between 120hz and 165hz does nothing (as expected) and changing bertween PC and AV modes also doesn’t do anything.

However when I turn off adaptive sync and then test 1440p the 60hz sdr/hdr and 120hz sdr/hdr modes all work. But now there’s no VRR.

Edit: as of writing this, I enabled VRR control in my monitor’s system settings and testing the 1440p seems to work now. I noticed that the VRR 48-120hz HDR mode seems very stuttery (roughly 20 fps), but the image is displayed which is what matters, so I’m assuming it works fine. The problem now is that you guys said that VRR control increases input lag and according to your graph it’s increased by 3x at 120hz.

    Anyway to fix this?
