Samsung Q80R - 1440p@120Hz not possible

Hi guys, thanks for the excellent guides you provide, it helped me two times to choose a good TV.

I have now some problems to get it working with my brand new graphic card. I am doing gaming on this TV, and I love it, but HDR still causes me some troubles, as well as refresh rate.

I am trying to get it at 2560x1440@120 Hz, keeping 10bpc, but I can only get up to 60Hz. I have a good graphic card delivering more than 120 fps on most games I have, and it is a pity not to take profit of this high frame rate and freesync VRR, being capped by a 60Hz monitor refresh .

Could someone please help me ?

Samsung QE55Q80RATXXC, up to date with firmware. PC Windows 10 with AMD RX6800 card.

It's 60 Hz. The number given by manufacturers and retailers is a meaningless marketing number. Vizio will often quote 120 Hz Effective Refresh Rate or 120 Hz Clear Action. They're meaningless.
