the Sony AF8 and AE1 have a Full screen dimming problem that plagues these TVs. I find it disappointing that no review mentioned it yet its too apparent (saw it on the first day watching football), and makes playing any video game horrendous, as the screen dims with ANY static element. I come from two past OLEDS (LG B6 and B7) and none exhibited these issues (even on the B8 logo luminance is OPTIONAL), wish it got some media coverage so Sony will be willing to fix it as videogaming on Sony OLEDs right now it not recommended at all!

This issue continues as of today while watching anything with static elements (soccer, NFL, UFC, and videogames, not to mention use as PC monitor is horrible due to the dimming). When not dimmed, brightness is similar to the B7 in scenes not limited by ABL.

This has not been fixed as it has hapened on the factory FW, September update and in the December Oreo Update.
