Haunted Hisense - keeps turning on by itself

I have had my U7G for 15 months now and my unit will randomly turn on by itself randomly. Some times it happens multiple times a week and sometimes it can go weeks without happening.

Been hoping one of the various android TV firmware updates would patch that out but so far that behavior has not stopped.

Could be a coincidence but my friends Hisense (I believe he said the U6G or U6GR) does the same thing. Any other reports of that with other Hisense models?
