OKay, so, if i understand, i use:

sRGB for SDR games and tweak others settings (profile1 save/load).

DCI-P3 for HDR games and tweak others settings (profile2 save/load).

Those settings still give us the most accurate calibration with this monitor, though as you say, every monitor is different, and these settings won’t necessarily give you the best results on your monitor. We suggest adjusting the settings until you find something you like.

Thanks a thousand for the answer, i’m good.

Also, TFT Central did found same about Lum+RVB, at -1+1 diff, so i think it’s near perfect.

Since first testing, if this settings “recommandations” changed… please edit (if forgotten) :

    *Color Accuracy (Post-Calibration) *

    Contrast * *60**

    RGB * *98-93-79**

    Brightness * *46**

    //

Because i base my settings on it, yeah yeah ( @all) whatever you say/think, i’m not of the ones that will DIY.

Keep in mind that we tested it with firmware MCM102 because we couldn’t update it to MCM103 or MCM104. These updates are supposed to fix the HDR performance, so it’s possible that the brightness gets fixed with it too.

That’s good, but if you could update it to 103 then 104 and just try to see and report if you can spot difference by your own eyes it could be a good idea !..

HDMI gives 8bit only choice in NVPanel, DP adds 10bit, NVPanel enables freesync but monitor menu has no option to switch ON-OFF, or from service menu.

HDMI renders image in restricted range, no matter setting in NVPanel or monitor menu (it has: auto, 16-255, and 0-255 choices in menu, set full 0-255 image will have a lighty overhaul render).

GREAT monitor, FW date 2021-1-28 v007.

    590 compare 2018>2021 (energy 47w to 37w) https://www.lcd-compare.com/index.php?action=compare&SAMU32J590UQU=on&SAMU32J590UQR=on

    592 - same EU alt https://www.lcd-compare.com/index.php?action=compare&SAMU32J592=on&SAMU32J592UQR=on

So, if i see UQU not perfecly well built, i can return Amazon and ask exchange for UQR.

But what to epect from a 2018’s 2021 refreshed model, except it’s less luck too be a refurbished part ;)
