Questions about the new 4:4:4 passthrough option

I have some questions about the new 4:4:4 passthrough option as I find the behavior of this option somewhat confusing.

  • Is there any functional difference between setting the device to the PC label or enabling the passthrough option?

  • When using the PC label, do you still need to enable the passthrough option in order to achieve proper displaying of a 4:4:4 signal, or is setting the PC label enough?

  • Do you recommend setting both the label and enabling the passthrough option?

    Make sure to set it to HDMI 2.1
