Hi there! I had my heart set on a 85" Samsung S90D mostly based on info gathered here. Went to Best Buy and loved what I saw. The more I dig though, the more I begin to doubt it is the right TV for me. Analysis paralysis in full effect.
I use an ATV 4K and have an extensive Apple digital movie and TV library. I also have a Sony UHD br player and an extensive HD/UHD disc library. 75% of my TV use is watching/streaming soccer or playing the PS5. I also stream Prime, Paramount+, ATV+, YTTV, YT, and Max. (Iโm fine using built-in OS and apps if better)
Given that the vast majority of my physical and digital library is DV, will the S90D still be a top performer? Most content will be downgraded to HDR10 correct? Also considering a Bravia 9 but thatโs a $1500 price difference. Current TV: Sony 75" X900F (or H, canโt remember) TIA!
