Seems strange to want wider angle viewing for these huge TV’s. I can understand 55 inch and lower as the image is smaller. The only reason seems to be that the blooming is much more as most people don’t sit at such an extreme angle when watching TV where the picture degrades that much. Looks like instead of focusing on better local dimming they are going for wider angle, which drops the best image down. Like to know what Rtings make of these new style of VA panels? The cost of development must be much more for local dimming. But then for something like the Z9D which is as good as any TV has been for FALD I would have thought they would put that tech into later models like Z9F instead of dropping the contrast by so much, for better angles. Same with Q9FN as it has great FALD capacity.
