(Archived) Dell S2719DGF price drop

The S2719DGF is a decent monitor for mixed usage. It has a very fast response time that leaves only minimal blur and a very low input lag to enhance the gaming experience. It has great size and resolution to allow you to multitask, and it can get bright enough to combat glare in most office environments. Unfortunately, it lacks good dark room performance with a low contrast ratio and terrible black uniformity.

I could do that. But it’s just pretty crappy that a tv at this price rangehas a glaring issue like this. Hopefully Samsung will bring out a software update to fix this.

They may have, the auto update feature on Samsung products is crap, they have a new update 1115.5, go to the Samsung.com/support area, search for the tv, and see if the update they have there is the one you currently have. I had to manually update with a usb stick.

I just leave mine at low and increase the brightness. Also set St.2084 to max. Local dimming will also darken your picture when a subtitle displays.

Game mode will sacrifice picture quality for lower input lag. It’s very noticeable when playing FPS games.

Might have a software update that’ll fix it in the future?

If you disable game motion plus… Play gears of war 5, if you look at the robot that follows you around, move your camera and you will see a bight green trail…

Interesting, i’ll take a look, thanks!

I haven’t seen this issue with mine, perhaps you have a faulty set?
