M658-G1 or M65Q8-H1
Hey there,
I’m dealing with a M658-G1 warranty issue and I have the choice between getting a recertified M658-G1 or getting the newer M65Q8-H1 and I’m wondering what the best choice is for me.
I do a tonne of movie watching and I’m an avid but not hard core gamer. I’m worried the the HDR functionality on the newer model isn’t up to snuff but I’m not anxious to take the refurb. Are any of the H1’s shortcoming related to firmware or is this an issue with the panel itself?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
PS. Thanks for being my main source for TV reviews for the last 5+ years.
Update: Replaced the Samsung Odyssey Neo G8 S32BG85 with the Samsung Odyssey OLED G8/G85SB S34BG85 because it’s better overall; replaced the Samsung Odyssey G7 S27AG70 with the newer Samsung Odyssey G7/G70B S32BG70.
