Can anyone please tell me how these two Headphones perform when viewing media or playing games?

I do not really game online so i don’t really need anything for com-chat. I’m also backing and fly often so these seem to be in the right vein for that but what isn’t clear anywhere I’ve looked is what these headphones are like to watch media.

The Bose are rated higher for Critical Listening and Home Theater but barely, so can anyone tell me if this is really noticeable and whether it would be worth getting the Bose or is there something about the XM3’s that could make them them great for watching movies considering their great use for commuting?
