Comparison with U6GR

Thanks for the review, I think it is very accurate especially when comparing to other models. It is what I was able to see with my naked eye. I owned the U6GR and tried this one. I was expecting them to be almost the same, as the U6GR also had VVR, but they are not. The first thing I noticed was the brightness. The U6GR was really bright, when looking at scenes with a sun on it for example, it hurt my eyes as if looking at the real sun, but not in this one.

Everything was brighter on the U6GR, that I was able to have it in a very bright room with windows and it was still bright, and even when raising brightness, the blacks remained black, but in this one U6H, when raising brightness, the blacks turned gray. Also was not able to keep it in a very bright room because it looked darker. Also the U6H has more blooming, while I didnโ€™t noticed any on the U6GR.

But on the other side, colors on the U6GR seemed too artificial out of the box, as it was pointed in the review. Faces looked red and some scenes looked brighter than they should be. And had worst motion.

So, in that aspect U6H looks more natural. And has little better motion, plus VRR seem to work better as in the U6GR it flickered sometimes and, on the Xbox, sometimes it zoomed the image by itself.

In the end I donโ€™t know which one I liked the most. I returned both xD

Maybe calibrating the U6RG will be better than this one supposedly an upgrade.
