I absolutely have no problem with my set .. absolutely in love with this stunning tv . Also i got my tv measured nits of peak brightness by a pro and it did reach 1820 nits in dynamic with contrast enhancer on high .. and it did sustain them for 13 seconds . I was amazed that time.. you guys should update the Q7F review because everything you said was just nothing more than a wrong info. The q7f also have 5300:1 contrast ratio .. Not like you said.. i’m not trying to be rude but i don’t know why you guys drippled the q7f in 2017 who knows maybe because it targets the oled.

We’re really glad to hear you enjoy your Q7F! Unfortunately, we no longer have ours, so we can’t retest it with the latest changes Samsung has made.
I ran in to this. If you are not using the HDMI cable the machine came with, you need to make sure the replacement is an HDMI 2.0 or better. Hope this helps.
Yep . I get screen flashing and red vertical lines on ps4 pro using game mode . I tried everything and it still there . I changed 3 hdmi cables . I even got a new connect box and changed the optical cable no use . I guess i will live witg it until my tv gets damaged and then i’ll go and buy a q90R… the q7f have superb picture quality and amazing colors and very very bright tv but these problems cannot be fixed which is annoying.
I fixed this . Only open the hdmi you’re using . I use hdmi 1 and turn off anynet+ HDMI CEC.. 3 days without flickering and without vertical red lines .. finally it is gone now i can enjoy my lovely picture quality..
I don’t know if the problem is related, but with my NU8000 i have this kind of problem, like “ghost trail” behind some things in my game. In the video it’s Metro Exodus, but I have the same thing on Red Dead 2.
Do you think it’s the TV, the console or maybe a mix of the 2 ?

More like the problem is from the game itself.

It could be a lot of things.
1) Try swapping (or if not possible at least reseating) the cable
2) Try changing the picture mode to and from game mode
3) Power cycle the console.
4) If it’s happening on other games, its likely something those games are doing that other games dont. I believe both of those games support HDR. You could try disabling HDR on your tv or in game and see if it makes a difference.
