I want to compare them to the LG Tone-T90 they are the first to have Dolby Atmos in earbuds.

I’m very curious about these as an upgrade to the 85t!

Could them be even an upgrade over the 7 pro?

Will this review be started soon? I need to replace some old 65t’s as the battery has gone, but can’t buy anything unless I see the final word from rtings

I also was on a pair of elite 65t’s that were only lasting 1 hr out of the case… I ended up going ahead and buying the Elite 10, they’re pretty great but I guess I was expecting a more significant boost in audio quality. I tried putting an earbud in each ear and swapping the audio stream from one to the other, couldn’t spot much of a difference unfortunately. Maybe I have less of a sophisticated eardrum than I thought…

Having said that, the Elite 10 are more comfortable, and have been very easy to setup & get going with, plus no issues like I was having with the QC II earbuds, everything just works flawlessly.

Thank you for replying; I’ve been waiting for an accurate review since its release. I have seen some measurements, but they are inacurate and not comparable to your consistent data.

By measurement, the 7 Pro is one of the best-sounding earbuds with the most comfortable fit. @RTINGS please include a comparison to this model. The Elite 8 looks more similar to it, but the driver should be better in the Elite 10, also full Dolby spacial audio sounds very promising. If you could describe in detail what to expect would be great.

Hi Matt - you requested focus areas above… The call quality compared to the Elite 85t and the Elite 7 Pro would be very helpful. I have the 85t and have found that I get better call quality in noisy environments with the 85t versus the Elite 7 Pro. I use the buds for work calls all day (trying to dual-use for conf call and mobile podcast/music listening).

I’d like to see how it compares with all the leading ANC buds on the market. Particularly with Sony WF 1000XM5s. I’ve seen a few reviews speaking highly of the mic quality and some calling it absolute trash( Could be the pre-production buds sent).

I’m incredibly surprised by the preliminary noise isolation results.

Subjectively, I found them better than the Galaxy buds 2 pro and lagging slightly behind the airpods pro 2, but your results suggest they’re far worse.

This is fascinating.

Yikes.. that treble spike looks rather offputting.

Maybe I was expecting too much of the ANC in the bass range. I was actually expecting the Elite 10 to compete with JBL and Samsung brands. The JBL live pro 2 has even better battery life for the earbuds and the case and is half the price.

Absolutely true about what you say about influencers and youtube reviewers. I think they end up being biased because they love getting free stuff to review by the brands, and also I think they get caught up in the hype of new releases, instead of being neutral reviewers.

I do think scientific measurements don’t tell you exactly how you will experience the sound, but It’s definitely a good starting point to narrow down options, and discard headsets that are overprice, or perhaps consider cheaper gems you’d never think about because they weren’t the big brands. It’s suprising to see how there’s some cheaper headphones who have ANC almost on par with the top name brands - Sony, Bose, etc.

Update: I’ve purchased one and will update in how’s the fit. The most important thing is that I can workout and do calisthenics with these as I was doing with my very sturdy and firm jabra elite 75T

By the way, the 75T have the same price now 199 than the (more advanced) jabra elite sport active 8 pro 199, I ha dato return because defective the 75T bought at 122.99 two years ago (!)

Prices are very confusing at the moment. Have you though of a chart tracking the price of these items? Thanks a lot

For your main comparison question, we no longer have the Jabra Elite 75T in the office, but we did compare them to the Jabra Elite Pro 7. The Elite Pro 7 would go deeper in the ear canal than the Jabra Elite 10. The Jabra Elite 10 has a more extensive body design and would fit more snugly on your ear’s concha. We used two testers to measure the differences in comfort, and larger ears had no long-term pressure points from the snug design of the Elite 10. The design felt a bit too big on smaller ears, which could result in the sensation that they might fall over time, but they did not while doing body exercises like burpees.

Hopefully, that answers your question, and we would love to hear the feedback 🙂.

But my experience using them is completely different - if there is any background noise my voice becomes very quiet and unintelligible…nothing like what happens on your test. Completely unusable. I really like everything else about these and cant figure out - am I doing something wrong? Is there a tweak or something I am missing? How can I get anywhere near your results? Mine are so utterly different.

Thank you for reaching out. We are very sorry that your experience does not match our review. To provide some context regarding our testing, we placed the head in front of the speaker, which outputs the Subway and Pink Noise, and then we record the microphone quality. Our Noise Handling graph takes into account the measurement we also take at 90 and 180 orientation from the “background noise.” Currently, this is something that our Microphone Recordings do not capture as they are taken at 0 degrees. Could you provide more information on the direction of background noise and when your voice becomes unintelligible?

We appreciate the feedback, as this will also help us improve the quality of our testing.

Its pretty basic really. If I am standing outside and a ca drives by, my voice becomes unintelligible during the car noise and for several seconds after its gone. If I am walking alongside traffic in the city, its basically unusable as long as there is ambient noise around me…

Thanks for your comment! We’ll update the firmware on our unit and take a look at the microphone performance at the same time as we update the ANC and wind noise performance over to Test Bench 1.7!
