I <3 SOE
Hey guys,
I’m one of those weirdos who actually likes the SOE and I was just curious to make sure I have the proper settings to get the highest level of SOE out of my set. Please correct me if I’m wrong, but based on what I’ve been reading, I should have De-Blur and De-Judder both set to 10 and BFI on High. Please let me know if that’s the case and if there’s any other settings I need to look at. The rest of the settings currently match what your recommendations are for the config. Thanks for your time!

eARC only needs 2.0b and up, does not need to be 2.1 unless you want full support which not everyone needs. OP is referring to the reasoning behind why they don’t update their board to support 4x HDMI 2.1, or just put eARC on a different HDMI port. Unfortunately they are still using a Mediatek SoC which is just the way that company designs it.

Well, if you have an AV amp / soundbar which supports HDMI 2.1, you can use eARC AND HDMI 2.1 passthrough at the same time, with one cable.
