Q70A revision? New Q70A came with 2022 Tizen UI instead of 2021 UI.

I got a second Q70A for Black Friday and found that it came with the 2022 Tizen UI seen in the B-series TVs, instead of the 2021 UI. It also came with the 2022 remote, with the settings icon added to the color & 123 button.

Model number is exactly the same: QN55Q70AAFXZA 2021 UI FW: T-NKM2AKUC-2111.1, BT-S 2022 UI FW: T-NM2SAKUC-1261.3, BT-S Both TVs say the firmware is up to date. I couldn’t find the 2022 UI FW on Samsung’s website, only the 2021 UI FW.

One notable difference is that in PC (4:4:4) mode, Auto & Custom color space are available in the 2022 UI, but forced to Native in the 2021 UI. Both with and without game mode.

Hoping older Q70As can get updated to the 2022 UI down the road.
