Hi, I just wanted to post my own experience with this Display. I’ve had this tv, the V405-H9/H19 (box and tv sticker list this as the H19, but the TV menus list this as the H9) for a few days now. So far, the contrast and pixel refresh rate are very good for a TV, better than my gaming monitor. Colors are mostly accurate and not over saturated, everything seems just right. The right speaker doesn’t really work (lottery I guess..) so I guess that’s one down side. I’ve been enjoying my sim racing quite a bit, I can make out a lot more detail on the road and surroundings, I can better judge the distances between corners and what not.
Now the interesting part, I use an nVidia GPU, so I don’t know if it’s specific to nVidia or the panel, but if you look in the nVidia resolution options, you can select options for 4kx2k or 1080p. Well, anything listed under 1080p has options for 120hz refresh, and it works. Mind you the 4kx2k 1080p option runs at 60hz max and does look a little sharper, but the 1080p option offers 120hz. Don’t know yet if this option would be available for console, havn’t tried it.
In any case, for anyone looking for that “just right” TV size between 43" and 32", this might be worth a try. Best Buy, where I got mine, usually has this TV for about $220 on sale, same with Costco when they have it in stock. And in any case, if it doesn’t work out for you, you can always return it. Hope this helps someone.
