The latest update, Nov 16 2021 added ALLM (auto low latency mode) this time. When you go to the TV input in settings, you have three choices: Auto, Standard, and Compatibility. Auto picks the best setting based on the input, standard has it on by default, and compatibility is the 1.4 HDMI mode.

Also the person who mentioned that the television can do HLG HDR was wrong. When I try to watch HLG content, whether it be from my cable service when its broadcasted, or a HLG video on the Youtube app, the colors are washed out and there is no signal change. Dolby Vision and HDR10 work fine, but HLG doesn’t. I also have a Vizio P Quantum 2020 65" and HLG works fine by comparison. There is a signal change and the colors are correct. Maybe it will be in a future update like ALLM, but it doesn’t work at the moment. At least not for the American version of the television. I have the 55" 2018 model.
