I’m interested to know if I’ll need a specific type of hdmi cable to use the TV for 1080p/120hz PC gaming?
Hi Adam!
Most games offer a calibration wizard for HDR, you should adjust this so that you don’t see any clipping, or to the point where you start to lose details in the calibration image used for the game. I wouldn’t pay too much attention to the actual number, if there is one, as most games don’t implement that part properly, and it’s unlikely that whatever number it’s showing (if there is one) is actually the peak brightness. Let me know if you have any other questions!

What does clipping means?

“Clipping” is when you start to lose fine details. It varies from game to game, but you’ll often see a very light gray shape our outline on a white background. Adjust the HDR brightness in the game until you start to lose fine details in that shape, and then drop it down a notch. You don’t want to lose fine details, so your final setting should be just below that point.
