Xbox Series S with the Sony X900F

I have the 65inch Sony 900F and understand how the PS5 cant force resolution to be a to display 1080p or 1440p at 120 FPS. Long lost that battle.

However, instead of having to buy another TV to enjoy the competitive side at 120FPS, I was wondering if I bought the Xbox Series S as the cheaper alternative to the Series X, would I be able to force the 1440p and 1080p at 120FPS? Buying the Series S would also make sense in current state being that this TV cant do 4K at 120FPS anyways.

I see in your review that you were able to run 1080p at 120FPS on the Xbox One X after altering settings, is this the same, with the addition of 1440p for the Series S?
