Should I buy the LG B9 now due to low price?

First post here, so please don’t bite.

To start with, my current AV setup is:

  1. Sony 55" A8F TV
  2. Sony STR DN1080 AV receiver
  3. Paradigm Cinema 5.1.2 ATMOS speakers
  4. PS4 Pro
  5. Apple 4K TV
  6. High End gaming PC w/RTX 2080 Ti connected via 15 meter (50ft) Ruipro 18Gbps HDMI 2.0b Fibre Optic Cable 4K@60Hz (had a LOT of trouble finding such a long cable to run games at 4K@60Hz with HDR)

My question is: Should I buy the 65” LG B9 TV today during the boxing day sales, as it’s currently approx. 25% off, with an Australian price of $2795?

I’m keen to pull the trigger on the B9 (any excuse to buy new hardware!), as it’s a decent size upgrade over my 55” A8F. More importantly for a keen gamer like me, it has Variable Refresh Rate and G-Sync compatibility. I currently use both my PS4 Pro and PC to game on the A8F. I’m also definitely going to buy both the new Xbox and Playstation at the end of 2020, as well as whatever NVIDIA’s next gaming GPU is, likely the 3080 Ti.

I have a couple of questions though, which I can’t find the answer to. Hope you guys can help! 1.) I just bought the STR DN1080 so don’t want to upgrade any time soon. However, it doesn’t seem to support variable refresh rate, or gaming at 4K higher than 60Hz. So, can I plug the 2 new consoles, 1 Apple 4K TV and 1 gaming PC into the B9F to get the higher frame rates (the B9 has 4 x HDMI 2.1 inputs) to allow for 4K @ 120Hz VRR video, then output from the TV via eARC to my AV receiver to deliver ATMOS surround sound? 2.) Will my 15 meter (50ft) Ruipro 18Gbps HDMI 2.0b Fibre Optic Cable 4K@60Hz be able to run 4K @ 120Hz? I’m guessing not, in which case is it likely that I’ll be able to get a 15 meter HDMI 2.1 cable in the future to connect my PC in the gaming den, to the B9 in my living area? 3.) Any other considerations I should be aware of considering my use case scenario?

So, if I hear good news about question 1 and 2, I’ll buy the B9 asap. If not, I’ll simply wait until Q3 2020 to upgrade, by which time I’m sure 4K @ 120Hz VRR capable AV receivers will be available. Thanks in assistance for your kind help. Oh, and Merry Christmas if that’s your thing!
