This review is taking long to complete , so I’ll leave my personal review of this keyboard (f75, not f99) after 2 weeks of use.
I’m returning it.
Keyboard feels and sounds great, it feels (the base and build, not the keycaps/switches) much more expensive then it is. The software is malware. It’s also terribly unusable.
The switches that come stock are all way to light and actuate double clicks/ missclicks all the time (other have this issue as well)
So I bought switches to replace the the stock switches, which are really, really low quality switches. They are supposedly factory lubed but I don’t believe it. They still feel ok to type on.
The keycaps are also horribly cheap and have a bunch of errors on the underside print, they are “double shot” but it’s just a layer of plastic paint that isn’t evenly applied. This means the keycaps are uneven and somewhat inconsistent feeling, and the underside cut is scratchy.
So I also bought replacement keycaps.
At this point Iv basically replaced most of the build and the only thing original remaining is the awful software, good quality build, and amazing 2.4g and multi connect. I decided to return it and just buy a barebones kit.
Couple things I forgot to mention, the volume knob mechanism feels cheap but works well, the RGB is very bright but it is SOUTH FACING (newer models ship with this) and doesn’t have side print keycaps so it looks weird. And the battery life is amazing (haven’t charged it ever)
Adios and I await the objective rtings review eagerly.
Oh, and I forgot to add.
Keyboard - Aula f75 (not f75 pro)
Switches- leobog reaper switches (36gf, I think they lie about the actuation)
Keycaps- glacier blue
