I recently found this model on clearance at multiple local Target stores (in-store only), and went ahead and purchased the 75" model (75UP7070PUD) since it was discounted 70% for a final cost of $290. I only say that because it’s possible these may still be available at other target locations, and while this is far from an exceptional TV, that is an exceptional price that simply can’t be beat for any new 75" TV and it might be worth heading into your local target to use a price scanner kiosk and look up current inventory at all the stores in your area (brickseek is no longer a reliable method for doing so).
Additionally, what I’ve discovered after my first week with this specific model is that the 75" does in fact have Bluetooth and can use the Magic Remote (although it doesn’t come with one) as well as some Bluetooth gaming controllers (like Playstation and Xbox) which I can confirm works great with the built in Nvidea GeForce app. This is an important distinction because nearly all questions posted across all online retailers that are related to Bluetooth support for this TV have been answered directly by LG stating this model DOES NOT support Bluetooth connectivity. In fact, even the downloadable PDF product sheet for the 70" and 75" class UP7070PUD/PUE Series also incorrectly states this model is not compatible with Bluetooth connectivity.
Based on all the information I can find, I believe it may only be the 75" model that does in fact support Bluetooth, but this information is apparently not widely known because even LG has misrepresented this on their own product sheets and even the product page itself on their website.
I can also confirm that the 75" model does work with the LG ThinQ app as well as the LG Remote for LG TV plus ThinQ app, which are the two apps RTINGS has incorrectly reported near the bottom of this page as being incompatible (which I find odd because they rely on WiFi rather than Bluetooth to function properly).
Finally, in an effort to be fully transparent, I have note yet purchased a Magic Remote and therefore can not confirm compatibility with absolute certainty, but because the Magic Remote relies on Bluetooth connectivity to function (and that feature I have confirmed via PS4 controller), there is no reason to believe it would not work.
Anyway, I just wanted to share this since all other available information online contradicts this claim and hopefully it will help someone somewhere who doesn’t know their TV has more features than they know.
Yes, we use the same settings, as we don’t currently calibrate HDR. And yes, you guessed it, it depends on personal preference. We prefer to keep the image as close to the creator’s intent as possible, so we try and avoid any post-processing modes.
