The Honeywell HUL545W is an ultrasonic cool mist humidifier meant for small to medium-sized spaces, roughly 300 to 500 ft2. It has an automatic off function for when its 3.8 L (1.0 gal) water tank runs dry, and there's a tray for adding essential oils.
The Honeywell HUL545W is decent for general home use. Its humidification capacity is sufficient for smaller apartments, living rooms, and large bedrooms. It also runs pretty efficiently. Its 15-hour runtime will allow it to run while you're at work or class, though it's also a little shorter than some other units with comparable capacity. Unfortunately, sterilizing its water tank properly can be a bit of a hassle.
Compact footprint.
Good humidification capacity.
Water tank is difficult to properly clean.
No built-in humidistat.
The Honeywell HUL545W is a good option for use in bedrooms. It has a pretty discreet presence, with a compact size and very low operating noise. It also doesn't have any distracting lights that would keep you up while trying to get some sleep. Its 15-hour runtime will also last you through the night, provided you fill the tank. Thankfully, it will shut off once its tank has run dry, so you don't have to worry too much about the machine being damaged if it does run out while you're asleep.
Compact footprint.
Very low operating noise.
Water tank is difficult to properly clean.
No built-in humidistat.
The Honeywell HUL545W is moderately demanding to clean. It can be disassembled pretty easily, though a fair few parts need to be cleaned periodically. Unfortunately, none are dishwasher-safe. The water tank also has a few awkward crevices where grime can accumulate.
Water tank is difficult to properly clean.
The Honeywell HUL545W has good humidification capacity. Although advertised for small to medium-sized rooms, it'll perform well even in moderately large areas like apartments, bigger living rooms, or a college dorm.
Good humidification capacity.
The Honeywell HUL545W provides good efficiency. Its moisture output relative to its power draw is somewhat impressive, and it won't impact your energy bill much if you live in a warmer, drier climate.
Very good humidification efficiency.
This Honeywell humidifier is only available in two colorways: 'Black,' which is sold as the HUL545B, or 'White,' which is sold as the HUL545W. We tested the 'Black' model, and for those interested, here's the product label.

The Honeywell HUL545W is an ultrasonic cool mist humidifier. It offers good humidification capacity, especially for something this small, and, like most ultrasonic units, runs very quietly. It also has a tray for essential oils and will turn off automatically once its tank has run out of water. That said, it's a bit of a nuisance to clean, especially compared to alternatives like the Vicks V3900.
The Honeywell HUL545W is moderately difficult to clean. There are quite a few parts that need to be cleaned, though thankfully, the unit can be disassembled pretty quickly. None of its components are dishwasher safe, though admittedly, they can all be detached from the unit and washed within a sink. Unfortunately, it can be difficult to reach every part of the water tank can be difficult.
It's a pretty basic humidifier. You can adjust the misting level with the front dial. There's a tray for essential oils to add them to the mist. The unit will also automatically shut off once its water tank runs dry.
This humidifier has very good energy efficiency. Its power draw relative to its moisture is quite impressive.
This humidifier's overall efficiency is great, particularly if you use it in warmer, drier months. However, if you use this machine in cooler, drier months, your heating system might have to work a little harder to maintain a comfortable temperature.

Would you be able to share your calibration steps / guide for the BenQ X3100i? Apologies if it’s been posted somewhere and I am missing it.
Hi! Unfortunately, we’re not currently sharing our calibration settings for projectors. We may in the future, but it’s not planned right now. In any case, our settings are unlikely to help because the room itself has such a huge impact on calibration—even the clothes you wear can affect how the projector looks.
The review states that this projector has hdr10+ playback. I haven’t seen any other reviews or specs say this. Are we certain it has this feature?
Hi! You’re right, the unit itself doesn’t support HDR10+, only HDR10. The streaming dongle it comes with, however, does support HDR10+, but the projector can’t take advantage of that feature. We’ll change the intro to remove mention of the projector itself being HDR10+ compatible. Thanks!
