There ae so many washing vacuum robots, unfortunately they are not all performing good in washing. I am curious how the rotating mobs are. And if there are lines left behind on the floor due to durty pad (as it was with S7)
Thx
Seems like this completely undermines the maxv line, very odd.

Unfortunately we won’t review Roborock Qrevo Curv. 4 - Product isn’t a mainstream model (is an exotic release exceeding a certain amount)
We’ve recently split robot vacuums into a separate product category on our website, and as part of that restructuring, we’ve increased the price limit on robot vacuums that we’ll be purchasing. Due to this, this robot is now eligible for purchase if there is enough user interest.
Edited 6 months ago: Change to exotic status due to increase in price limit.
Heya Lexej, apologies for the late reply. We’ve recently split robot vacuums into a separate product category on our website, and as part of that restructuring, we’ve increased the price limit on robot vacuums that we’ll be purchasing. As such, the Roborock Qrevo Curv is now very much eligible and under consideration as a product we’ll be reviewing.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out again if you have any further concerns or questions!

We’ve purchased the product and are waiting for it to arrive in our lab.
Hey everyone,
A quick heads up that this product will remain in early access throughout the holiday season as our office is closed. We’ll be back at the start of January so you can expect the review to be published around that time.
We got a Curv in a Black Friday sale and have 66 hours/ 2711m2 on it so far. We’ve got a German Shepard and two cats in the house so the ‘’hair” function gets a real workout. Overall we’re very impressed- hair doesn’t tangle, floors are clean and streak free, etc. Glad we got this model but there a couple caveats:
The bot can serve multiple floors- we carry it upstairs, turn it lose and has enough charge to vacuum/ clean/ mop the whole floor. Unfortunately the floor is significantly less clean that when we use it downstairs likely because it can’t return to the dock to clean/ empty and because it runs out of water. Something to track if you’re buying for multi-floor capability.
The battery is still limiting in our use- we can’t clean our full downstairs floor in a single charge, though we can get 90% if we leave it into the AI cleaning mode. Any of the deeper cleaning settings such as the “vacuum then mop”, etc nearly double the battery drain making a full clean a nearly 9 hour proposition (clean, recharge, clean again). Luckily the AI mode works well enough most of the time, but for those with larger spaces even this big battery could still be bigger.
Overall we’re still very happy though- it’s a game changer for us vs our previous robot that only vacuumed.
I note the relatively low scores for carpet cleaning and the very low noise level and wonder: have you tested with “carpet boost” enabled? Under “carpet cleaning setting” > Carpet boost: “the robot will automatically detect carpets and turn suction power to maximum”. Makes a difference in my experience, both to the level of cleaning and unfortunately also to the noise- it gets much louder.

Hey PetevB!
Thanks for your feedback and for sharing your experience with your Qrevo Curv! It definitely can be pretty tedious to have to bring the robot up and down the stairs for a pit stop. As for the battery, this is one of the best we’ve tested so far, so here’s hoping that the industry looks into better efficiency and battery size.
Also to confirm, we did have “carpet boost” on. We generally leave all setting to their default when testing, or turn them on if prompted in the app. One thing to note is that our test is really designed to push the robots to their limits with varying types of debris. The carpet performance is still acceptable, but we’ve seen models that perform better in our tests.
Thanks again for sharing your experience and have a great day!
very exitied to compare this vs the s8 maxv ultra
I would like to see Performance of qrevo curv.

Update: We’ve converted this review to Test Bench 1.0, which updates our performance testing to include new tests to evaluate Obstacle Adaptability, Obstacle Avoidance, Height Clearance, and Threshold Clearance. We’ve also introduced new performance usages. For more information, see our changelog.
