Per the Sony 2023 release announcement, the X85L, nor the X80L, to be released in North America. 2022 models carried over.
This model now has local dimming so it can be a cheaper alternative to the two more expensive models and compete with cheaper OLEDs and FALD TVs.
I wonder how many dimming zones it has, at different sizes.
