Pre-FAZOR, LCD-2 had the best bass of any open headphones, extending below 20hz, with ample slam and rumble. Also, you’re missing the point with these headphones (correct me if I’m wrong). Those have HUGE planar magnetic drivers, they’re properly engineered, and thus for years had industry-leading low harmonic distortion, especially in middle range. That allows accurate vocals and instruments representation and zero audible distortion at ANY volume. There’s something wrong with your measurements. Their main flaw is a big dip at 8Khz frequency response curve that affects imaging and airiness.
