when i set the gamma mode to mode 2 on this monitor it makes the display have a faint red look to it, is that meant to happen?

Hi, gamma should only affect the lightness or darkness of the image, it shouldn’t have an impact on the redness of the image. You can learn more about Gamma in our Color Accuracy article.

thank you so much for this amazing website. you don’t understand how much we appreciate you guys. my current monitor is broken and Im in need for a new one, is this one uses the same panel used for the refreshed model released this year under the name UltraGear 27GS75Q/27GS75Q-B? it varies very little than this one with faster response times and higher native and OC refresh rate. also at the same price at my local retailer I can get Omen 27q or Legion R27qe. I really need your help guys. colors and response times from 60hz-max hz are my most important thing to look at.

Hey, the 27GS75Q-B is a newer monitor than this one and performs differently because of its higher refresh rate. So without testing it, we don’t know how it performs unfortunately!
