I’m using a DP80 certified cable, so I hope so!
I think you’re on to something with the Reddit link. I had to use that fix with the previous NVIDIA drivers to get custom resolutions, but I have since switched to DisplayPort and haven’t tried it since. I’ll give it a go.
If you’ve got this monitor, would you mind checking the NVIDIA App homepage at 240hz? The text under “GeForce RTX 5090” is quite distorted at 240hz, but at 120/60 it’s crystal clear. For me, this is one of the easiest ways to see the fuzziness.
I have the monitor but I haven’t been able to buy a 5090 yet, I’m using a 7900xtx
Has this monitor been tested with a 50-series NVIDIA GPU? Since the original review used an AMD card to drive 240hz, I’d be interested to see your findings with the latest from team green for comparison.
I’m finding a few issues myself, mainly that going to 240hz introduces a slight fuzziness where especially text and solid lines don’t appear sharp. It also seems also to throw off the colour and gamma, which at 60hz/120hz is pretty well calibrated. It gets even worse if I try 10-bit on top.
Perhaps the monitor goes into an overdrive mode to run at this frequency? If so, I’m surprised none of these issues showed up in the review.

Hey RTings, thanks for the excellent reiew.
In the HDR Brightness section, you mention that Standard isn’t as bright as Warm1. Could you publish the measurements for each setting? Thanks!

Hopefully this will help: https://www.reddit.com/r/ultrawidemasterrace/comments/1ifeoa3/samsung_neo_g9_57_rtx_5090_fix/
Are you using a good cable?

Have you updated to the latest firmware?
