i see the test number has increased to 440.. is this the first TV on the new test bench?
Yes, but the number of tests isn’t accurate, as we’re still finalizing the new test bench.
Note that because this review, and the QM6K next, are being tested on the new test bench, they won’t proceed past the testing phase until the new test bench is published.
this might be a legit Hisense U7N/TCL QM751G competitor, so it’ll be interesting to see how this plays out.
Little bit of a leak here, but preliminary testing is showing that it’s competing well against those models, at least in terms of contrast and brightness. Colors and overall accuracy are a bit worse. This is very preliminary, though.

Well Adam, your strategic leak has me more invested than ever.
I wonder if it’s a better competitor than the Roku Pro, which was also competitive to those models in terms of brightness & contrast (per y’all) but sputtered when it came to color accuracy and image processing.

I guess we’ll find out!
I guess it comes down to preference of OS, I just can’t see why anyone would want either this Omni Fire TV or the Roku Pro knowing they “compete” with the Hisense or TCL, but overall are worse. If anyone likes the “simplicity” of Roku TV, just enable “Apps Only” mode on Google TV after all your apps are installed form the Google Play Store, which has wayyyy more apps than any other OS on the market, both legit or side loaded.
Hi. As mentioned above, this review is delayed as it’s being tested directly on our new test bench, TV 2.0. Early access should be posted sometime next week once the new update is live, with the full written review a week or so after that.

I want to suggest the 65 inch version but cannot find an ASIN number in the product page, SKU ML65F700.
ASIN appears to be #B0C1TQYNWX
The product has won our suggestion poll, so we’ll buy and test it soon. Follow this thread for updates!
I’m curious how different and how similar RTINGS measurements will be compared to Linus Tech Tips measurements.
The product has arrived in our lab, and our testers will start evaluating it soon.
any chance of this TV being tested in the near future?
Yes, we plan on starting it next week.
Sorry for the delay, we were focused on our upcoming methodology update. QM6K is next!
Thanks for the timely update
Our testers have started testing this product; is there anything specific you’re looking to see? Let us know in this thread.

Really interested to see if this can give Hisense/ TCL a run for their money.
