I want to see the high resolution quality and the lowest resolution quality to see how the difference is. Will the toner smear on the paper after it prints? Will there be dotโs on the edge when it prints. When I purchase a brother printer in 2009 it always print with dots along the edges. I switch the drum and it is still happening. The store replaced the printer 2x and I asked for refund because it has the same problem. It was within the return period and so I requested a refund but they did not refund me and โforcedโ me to buy a โhigherโ price printer an HP printer. So I need to see if there are dots when printing a document or a picture. I want to see if Brother improve their print quality from 14 years ago. Also I want to see if the toner on the paper is saturated as other brands like HP. Want to compare photos to HP printers. I know the laser/LED color printer are not for photos but I want to see the quality between Brother and HP. Thank you.

Our testers have started testing this product; is there anything specific youโre looking to see? Let us know in this thread.
I purchased an HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP 4301, but realized the ADF scan resolution is only 300 dpi, and Iโm trying to archive documents. Fine print does not scan very well at this resolution. Now checking into Brother printers, and this one is a strong option.
Also, RTINGS, if you could please add specs and testing for the ADF separate from the flatbed scanners. These printers have essentially 2 scanners. Thanks!
Hi grandpixel,
We agree that it would be useful for many users to list the resolution of the ADF and flatbed separately. Iโve updated our internal tracking to put more emphasis on this the next time we plan a printer update.
Thanks for the suggestion and explaining how this affects you.

I would also like to understand how this compares to the MFC-L8395CDW as the specs are identical. Presumably, additional 8000 series models will be released over time, and Iโd like to better understand what those models provide that the MFC-L3780CDW does not. On higher 8000 series, there is a 7" screen for example.
