While this is true (out of the box this monitor does not accept a 4k signal from the PS5), thereโs a solution that exists now. Thereโs a small adapter (EDID emulator) that you can buy on Amazon for less than $20 that will trick the monitor into downscaling a 4k signal. I use this monitor with my PS5 and PC and it works great now. Only downside is that you have to disable HDCP which prevents the use of apps like Netflix (which I donโt use anyways). Iโm not sure why Dell has been so defensive and incompetent regarding this issue, as clearly there are solutions that exist and much cheaper monitors that support this feature out of the box. Still, if you can grab this monitor on a big sale, I highly recommend it as itโs amazing for both gaming and productivity. Just make sure you pick up an EDID emulator.
Definitely seems to be a significant increase in the brightness of my B3 upon updating.
