  1. Samsung QN85C TV Review

The Samsung QN85C/QN85CD QLED is the Samsung QN85B QLED's successor and is Samsung's lowest Neo QLED offering in 2023, sitting below the Samsung QN90C/QN90CD QLED and the Samsung QN95C QLED. It features a Mini LED backlight, allowing for high levels of brightness and fine control over the TV's local dimming zones. It uses Samsung's 2023 Tizen OS smart interface, which offers many apps.

  2. Samsung QN85C Settings

Finally, the Samsung QN85C supports a Smart Calibration feature. If you have a Galaxy S, Note, Flip, or Z Fold device released after January 2019 or a recent iPhone that supports Face ID, you can use this feature to partially calibrate your TV automatically.

  3. Samsung QN85B TV Review

The Samsung QN85C/QN85CD QLED succeeded it, but both TVs are very similar, so don't worry about upgrading if you already own the QN85B. For more options, check out our recommendations for the best TVs, the best QLED TVs, and the best 4k gaming TVs.

  4. Samsung QN85D TV Review

The Samsung QN85D has a nice design, although it looks like a much thicker version of last year's Samsung QN85C/QN85CD QLED. From the front, it has thin bezels and a sleek look that'll fit in any room.

  5. Samsung QN85A TV Review

The Samsung QN85A uses an ADS panel, which is very similar to IPS technology.

  6. Samsung QN90C/QN90CD QLED TV Review

Like the Samsung QN85C/QN85CD QLED, it uses an RGB subpixel layout, so it won't have any issues rendering text when used as a PC monitor.

  7. Samsung QN85A Settings

We used the following calibration settings to review the 55 inch Samsung QN85A QLED (QN55QN85AAFXZA), and we expect them to be valid for the 65 inch model (QN65QN85AAFXZA) and the 75 inch model (QN75QN85AAFXZA). Most of these settings should also be valid for the 85 inch model (QN85QN85AAFXZA), but it uses a VA panel, so some aspects of the TV may perform differently.

  8. Samsung Q80C [Q80, Q80CD] QLED TV Review

If you want something in a higher tier with much better contrast, check out the Samsung QN85C/QN85CD QLED, the Samsung QN85D/QN85DD QLED, or the Q80C's successor, the Samsung Q80D QLED.

  9. Samsung QN95C QLED TV Review

With local dimming fully enabled, though, this isn't noticeable, and the TV does a fantastic job displaying deep blacks even in complicated scenes with bright highlights.Unfortunately, like the Samsung QN85C/QN85CD QLED, Samsung has removed the ability to fully disable the local dimming feature through the service menu.

  10. Samsung QN85B Settings

New to the Samsung QN85B is the HDR Tone Mapping menu. This TV supports HDR10+ Gaming, which isn't supported yet by any consoles. You can adjust these settings to your liking, but they don't make much difference.

  11. Samsung QN800A 8k QLED TV Review

Despite having Samsung's 'Ultra Viewing Angle', the Samsung QN800A has only okay viewing angles. The colors start to change hue fairly quickly when moving off-center, causing the image to appear inaccurate. This behavior is more in line with other VA panels, and it's not suggested for wide seating arrangements like the Samsung QN85A QLED, which has an IPS-like panel.

  12. The 5 Best Samsung TVs

If you want a Samsung TV without breaking the bank, the Samsung Q80D QLED is the best lower mid-range Samsung TV we've tested. Its reflection handling isn't quite as good as the Samsung QN85D/QN85DD QLED, but its equally impressive SDR brightness means it still overcomes glare in a well-lit room.
