Anker Soundcore Motion+
Marshall Emberton II
The Marshall Emberton is a slightly better speaker than the Anker Soundcore Motion+. The Marshall has better directivity, resulting in a much wider and open-sounding soundstage. It has a longer-lasting battery life and is better built with an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance that certifies it to be dust-tight and immersible in up to a meter of water for 30 minutes. It's smaller too, making it more portable. That said, the Anker gets a bit louder with much less compression present at max volume, resulting in cleaner-sounding audio at louder volume levels. Also, the Anker gives you more control over its sound profile thanks to the graphic EQ and presets featured in its companion app.

Hey there, I’ve flagged this issue with our web team, so it should be updated soon. Thanks for pointing it out.
I’ve cleared the cache of my browser but still shown as 8.2. If you check just Emberton 2 review page it’s updated to 8.7, but in tools pages (side by side comparisons) still shown as 8.2. Please check the link. (If in your computer still shown as 8.7, means problem with my cache) https://www.rtings.com/speaker/tools/compare/marshall-emberton-ii-vs-ultimate-ears-wonderboom-3/33714/34699?usage=10159&threshold=0.10
Hi Bashar,
Would you mind letting me know in which exact tables or compared pages you’re seeing this? On my end it’s displaying as 8.7 everywhere. Thanks!
It seems like you’ve already updated Battery rating of Emberton 2 to 8.7 from 8.2. But it still looks (and calculated in tables Outdoor etc.) as 8.2 in compare-table-list pages. Thank you.
Thank you so much for your prompt reply! After my comment, I also realized that it’s not just about these 2 products but a general mistake. It’s so nice that you care and will work on it; I appreciate. Cheers!
Hi Bashar and thanks for your comment! This is an issue with the scaling on our battery life and charge time tests that we noticed recently and are now working on fixing. We expect that this will be implemented by the end of this week.
I couldn’t understand your pointings about Battery section, maybe you need a little correction or update about that? Motion+ has 8.7 points for 15.5 hours of battery life and Emberton 2 gets only 8.2 for 22.1 hours of battery life. I understand Charge Time difference is 3.4 vs 4.9 hours but it’s logical to charge 1.5 hours more for 6.6 hours longer battery life; therefore shouldn’t they get same or at least close points for Battery? Thank you in advance if you read and care about.
