TCL R646 Weird Backlight lag in Dark Scenes

Hello! I just unboxed the R646 yesterday and found that when watching any videos with a lot of deep blacks or fades to black, I can see the backlight zones sort of popcorn ‘ing on and off (very noticeable with the lights off)— I can easily see it he backlight turning on and off in all the zones around the TV, it almost feels like the backlight is slow. I tried messing with a lot of the settings and even factory resetting to see if it goes away.

I do not notice this with my old Vizio P65-F1 from 2018 and currently have that one set up next to the R646. Does anyone else with this TV notice this or is it just something with this TV?
