Hello! Is it really 0.8ms? I really don’t trust that stat because even wired keyboards can’t usually reach that?

So, this keyboard is on an older test bench, prior to us updating our latency test. Using those methods, the results really were 0.8ms. There are definitely some flaws in that test, which is why we revamped the whole thing.

However, we’ve since updated the test to completely focus on the latency of the keyboard, separated from any system latency and take hundreds of readings per-key. Unfortunately, because of how old this keyboard is, we no longer have it and wouldn’t be able to tell you what the latency would be in our current testing environment.

That said, wireless tech has gotten significantly better in the last few years. The latency between wired and wireless is shrinking rapidly and many of our best keyboards have similar (or better) wireless latency than wired. I hope that helps!

1. the shared esc § button uses § as default if razer synapse is not installed.

2. the cable connection is force prioritized if the keyboard is plugged in, meaning even if the user sets the switch to BT or 2,4 it still doesn’t use it.

some want to use the wireless connection for e.g. a work laptop, while having the keyboard plugged in to the gaming PC without needing to plug/unlug all the time.

That would just wear down the port & cable + be an annoying needless extra step.

bad software design.

corsair K63 gives that optionality for the user, but i wanted a more silent upgrade. This one was not it.

edit: it’s a nordic version, in case that has any impact on 1.
