Hello. I have one of these speakers and I’m thinking about getting a second one to pair into a stereo setup. Will I get a decent soundstage? Or should I just get a better speaker, like Marshall Middleton?

I bought this speaker a couple of days ago. I’ve found this review to be very helpful when deciding which speaker to get! I was originally deciding between a Bose Soundlink Max and JBL Xtreme 4, but I found the Bose to be a bit too expensive and the Xtreme 4 to be a bit too bulky when seeing it in person.

One thing I noticed that was a selling point of this speaker, but I didn’t find in this review, is its ability to be used as a power bank. I guess it would be easy enough to add in the Battery section as a Yes/No field, I figure the specifics of how much charging power it can deliver as a power bank isn’t super important.

Hi Eiglow and thanks so much for your feedback! The power bank feature is something we’ve started seeing in a few recent releases and is becoming increasingly commonplace. We don’t quite have the means to test it fully yet, but as you mentioned the specifics of charging power aren’t that important. We’ve been a little inconsistent in mentioning it in our reviews, but I’ll make sure to update this review and in other relevant ones going forward. Thanks!

  6. Update: We’ve updated the Battery section to mention that you can use this speaker as a power bank for your other devices.
