Ok. Would that ruin the experience? was looking into getting a QD-Oled monitor because I already have a 55” LG C2 Tv I just got last year but these QD-OLEDs look like they have a much better gaming experience

I don’t think it would ruin the gaming experience and you’ll definitely get fantastic picture quality, but you wouldn’t be using the monitor to the best of its abilities, and you won’t get a true 4k signal either (like you would on the C2). On top of that, constantly having the black bars on the sides can pose a risk of burning in - so basically it’s not the best display you can get for console gaming, but if you want to get it, you’ll definitely enjoy it.

Thank you. Ya that would drive me nuts thinking of burn-in. I’m already nervous enough playing strategy games like age of empires on the lg c2. So much I barely play it. At most for like an hour or 2. Looks like I should just buy a PC and use it on my C2 until I can save for a QD Oled monitor. Or just get a QD OLED TV. Easier said than done tho
