My Samsung KS8000 (KS7090 in Germany) broke and i was able to get the 55" B1 for 800€ wich i considered a great deal while already being quite on the edge of my budget. Although i’m overall happy with this TV it is lacking in peak brightness with HDR content, as you’ve measured. Even though highlights still fairly pop (in a dark room) i am wondering if i am missing out on HDR performance compared to the C1, wich never got below 999€. Of course my KS8000 was much brighter than both B1 and C1. Because of that i can’t really judge if this is just the way OLEDs are or if the C1 would have been noticably better with HDR highlights in comparison to the B1. Are the 500ish nits of the B1 enough to get a “true” HDR experience and is the C1s increased peak brightness noticable when not side by side?
