I agree. Something is weird with PC ratings and 2022 models. Also there is no Freesync or Gsync. It should get lower score.

The text clarity issues and colour fringing would depend on the style of sub-pixel rendering used. Greyscale subpixel rendering such as what is used by recent versions of Mac OS should not have the text clarity issues. As for FreeSync/GSync, HDMI 2.1 VRR is a vendor agnostic equivalent that modern GPUs all support.

    Hey all,

Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts with us. At the end of the day, itโ€™s comments like these that help us continue to improve, so we appreciate the feedback. That said, youโ€™ve all brought up some great points, and we understand that our current PC monitor score may have some limitations (as highlighted by some of our 2022 reviews). There are issues coming up on some of these TVs that donโ€™t currently impact the score, so it seems like it needs to be reworked the to be more inline with user expectations. With that in mind, weโ€™re currently working on different updates to our TV test bench planned in the next months and this score is one of the things that we are planning on looking at and fixing it. So, if you have any specific suggestions for ways to improve the scoring, donโ€™t hesitate to let us know!

It is a bad idea to have a television on your table to use as a monitor, it is not the same technology, you will probably feel uncomfortable friend.
