Hi there and yes you’re absolutely right here! The Google Home Mini is the first generation of the Nest Mini - the rebranding caused us to word this confusingly in-text but we’re going to fix this so it reads more clearly. Still no word on when there might be a new (and likely Gemini-compatible) Google speaker. Thanks for pointing this out!
Update: We’ve updated this review to clarify that we tested the 2nd generation version of this speaker rather than the 1st-generation Google Home Mini.
