Is this a better tv overall than the Samsung Q60r?

Hi RTINGS.

I’m about to purchase either this LG SM8600 or the Samsung Q60r, and before I get buyers remorse I’d like to find out which is the better option.

It will used mainly for Netflix/YouTube and Gaming (PS4), with some sports.

I see you state the contrast isn’t as great in a dark room. What constitutes a dark room? Say for instance my lounge has a sliding door and small window. Would you consider this a light/dark room?
