I received a Hisense 65A6H that, contrary to the RGB IPS panel reported here, appears to be a VA panel based on viewing angles and definitely uses a BGR subpixel arrangement. My unit was manufactured in January 2023, pictures here: https://imgur.com/a/YxBWw3Z

Colors shift dramatically at oblique viewing angles, suggesting a VA panel, but I can’t confirm for sure - fortunately, this appears to be more of a problem with vertical angles than horizontal.

Worse than any of that though, the grey uniformity is NOTHING like this review. There are dark spots with bright halos all over any uniform screen, which may be an indicator of a defective unit but I think more clearly suggests a poorly engineered backlight diffuser? If anyone can weigh in on that issue, I’d appreciate some insight (pics in same imgur post above). It’s easily noticeable and distracting when looking at fields of snow and ice or panning shots across skies.
