    Yes, it does.

    Yes, it does.

Does the color space setting in the expert picture settings have any effect on this? If so, would auto or native be better when trying to use RGB full?

Color space setting has no effect on this, and we never recommend using “Native”, as it will adjust the color space of whatever you are sending to match that of the TV, which can cause overly saturated colors in many cases.

both my ps4 and switch default to full for this tv. i tried switching over to limited and didn’t notice a difference between them. what’s going on here? with any other tv or monitor i notice immediate washed out picture if i choose the wrong setting. does the tv auto change to full/native depending on what the source is or something?

also, the tv defaults to “native color space” and i doubt many buyers use the expert settings to turn it off. do your rtngs for this model assume native or auto?

The TV should automatically detect if you are sending full or limited, so you shouldn’t have any issues. Most of our ratings are based on the calibrated settings, so yes, it is with color space set to “auto”.

great awesome thanks so much for the fast reply! i kept seeing people on reddit saying to make sure all your consoles were set to limited for this tv but i swear it didn’t make a difference when i tested. this makes sense then if this tv auto switches .

also i didn’t see anywhere in your review or calibration settings for the s405 where you mentioned that you chose auto or native so i assumed you left it at default which is “native” and was wrong. thanks again for clarifying
